SELF - DEVELOPMENT MINDSET 🧠

Let's talk about mindset -  A self Development mindset.

Let's start...

🌐 🔎 Consume: Every individual is different, and the reason behind it is the mindset. Now the question may come, how a mindset is formed? Look, it's simple. Our mindset is formed by what we consume, by “Consume” I mean - the thoughts, the values, either from society, people around us, friends, Internet, TV, audios, or from any source of information that you have.

Everything that you can see, listen, touch, feel,  or smell is information that your brain/mind is consuming and is forming some set of beliefs on it.

Now, this stage can be constructive, where you as an individual develop yourself or not so constructive (You may be left consumed, remember everything that you consume is not by desire, somethings are thrown towards you)

Here is what I would suggest.

  • Do not be your information point. Remember what is working for others may not work for you (Universe is not that generically aligned)

  • Filter what you are consuming.

  • Validate everything that is becoming your belief system, and how do you do that? You do that by asking relevant questions to yourself, or to the people you think might be having a better understanding of it (It can be anyone from your family, friend, a mentor, a guide, or google)

  • Read books/e-books/blogs/journals. Gather information about things in a way that it can help you get a better understanding of things.

  • Choose a wise source of information, do not limit yourself to any one source.

Here, I demand you find a way, a way that can help you stick to what you want.

📖 Learn: Now, whatever information you are consuming.

  • What are you doing with that?

  • How are you processing this information?

  • Are you using this information to help you grow or achieve your goals?

A quick suggestion, any information that is not going to make your life a bit easy is a waste for you.

You do not need to focus on that.

Here I want you to understand the following

  • Learn which information is helpful and which is not.

  • Learn how to process the information, what to pick and what to leave.

  • Learn as much as you can.

  • Learn how to use this information (What you consume) in your life.

🔨 Apply: Have you ever found yourself doing something which does not interest you or something which does not connect with you? Possibly no. I learnt cycling because I was impressed with my siblings riding cycles - that also without holding handles. (Now, do not ask me what happened after I tried the same thing)

What I am trying to create here is, if you are learning something it means you have an interest in that. Now do not just leave it. Apply it.

  • You learnt how to hold your breath and meditate, do it daily.

  • You learnt a new code, go apply it, create things.

  • Learn how to make pasta, invite your friends (Take care of corona) and surprise them.

  • You learnt a new tune on the guitar, go play it.

  • You learnt a negotiation skill, go apply it.

Anything new that you learn, is of no use if you do not apply it.

If you want to keep your mindset positive, towards attracting new goals and achieving new possibilities, apply - apply everything that you learn.

Grow: Growth, is something that every one of us wants. There is a very huge difference between people who are able to do things that can help them grow and people who are not. The majority of us will not be able to grow because,

  • We consume what we do not need.

  • We spend a lot of time doing things that have no impact on our growth.

  • We create unrealistic goals.

  • We are unable to learn new things, maybe because they do not interests us.

  • Many of us do not apply things that we learnt (We still have that fear of not being appreciated)

Now, if I tell you, that's okay.

It's okay if you are going through any of the above incidents, and feeling hopeless about the future.

You can still make a positive change in your life.

All that you need to do is, make a plan.

Create your short term and long term goals.

See what you need.

Now,

  1. Consume things that can help you grow.

  2. Learn new skills.

  3. Apply them.

Chances are, that you will fail.

No one was born to win every time.

Do not lose hope.

Keep working on yourself.

🔁 The beauty of life is, that we keep consuming some of the other information, every single moment and, hey we can always train our minds about it.

  1. What we consume?

  2. What we learn and keep with ourselves?

  3. Application of things.

Do these things 3 very wisely.

Growth will be yours.

Not immediately - But certainly.

--- Do you see that white heart in an image, you have to aim for that.
