DISASTERS  OF 2025 


1. Air India Flight 171 Crash – Ahmedabad (June 12, 2025)


 A boeing 787 dreamliner operated by Air India crashed shortly after takeoff from Ahmedabad airport en route to London. The aircraft caught fire midair and broke apart before crashing into a densely populated neighborhood.


Casualties: Over 240 people died (passengers, crew, and civilians on the ground).


 This is the deadliest aviation disaster in india’s history and the first major crash of a Dreamliner model.


 Suspected engine failure and delayed pilot response. An investigation by DGCA and Boeing is ongoing.


 Grounding of select aircraft, national mourning declared for 2 days, compensation announced for victims’ families.





In the face of this devastating loss, india stands united in grief and resilience. We honor those we lost, support the families left behind, and commit to ensuring safer skies.

let this tragedy not weaken us, but remind us of the strength we carry as a nation.Together we mourn, Together we rebuild,Together we rise in.


2. Bengaluru Crowd Crush - Chinnaswamy Stadium (June 4, 2025)


 A massive crowd gathered to celebrate the Royal Challengers Bangalore’s IPL victory. Lack of proper crowd control and exit management caused panic and a deadly stampede.


11 people dead, over 50 injured.


 Raised serious concerns over public event management in high-capacity venues.


FIR filed against organizers, and security protocols for mass events have been revisited.


Though the celebration turned into sorrow, we must carry forward the spirit of those we lost fans who came together in love for their team their memory fuels our resolve to build safer, better, and more responsible events, where joy doesn’t turn into tragedy. Let us stand strong as a community to honor the fallen with action, to celebrate responsibly and to ensure every gathering becomes a celebration of life, not a risk to it.




3. May 7–10, 2025 Armed Conflict ("Four Days" War)


India launched “Operation Sindoor”, conducting missile and drone strikes on terror-related infrastructure across Pakistan and Pakistan administered Kashmir in retaliation for the April 22 Pahalgam terrorist attack that killed 26 civilians


Pakistan responded with mortar fire into Jammu (Poonch) and missile strikes on Indian air bases, including at Sirsa, and launched its own counter-operation ("Marka-e-Haq")  .

both sides deployed jets, drones, missiles marking the first drone warfare in India-Pakistan history  .

Ceasefire & Diplomatic Fallout

A ceasefire was brokered on May 10 via a hotline between military chiefs, with U.S. and international mediation helping to defuse escalation.






4.Gujarat Firecracker Warehouse Explosion – Deesa (April 1, 2025)


 A blast occurred in an illegal warehouse storing firecrackers and aluminum powder.

 21 deaths, including children and warehouse workers 6 others severely injured, the explosion flattened nearby homes.

State-wide crackdown on unlicensed explosive storage units.

In the face of unimaginable loss, the spirit of the Deesa community shines through.

Neighbours became rescuers, strangers became family, and the whole town stood together in solidarity.


5.Prayag Maha Kumbh Mela Stampede – Prayagraj (January 29, 2025)

 During the holy bathing day of the Kumbh Mela, a barrier collapsed under the weight of pilgrims. A sudden push by the crowd caused chaos,officially 30 dead, 60+ injured, although some sources report higher figures.

 India's largest religious gathering turned tragic due to poor planning.

Yogi Adityanath’s government ordered an inquiry and immediate compensation for victims.

This tragedy reminds us of the value of every life, the power of preparedness, and the need for compassion in every step we take as a society.
