अगर उसके प्रोफेशन की बात की जाए तो उसने अपने प्रोफेशन में बहुत सारी चीजें की है, जैसे कि उसे बच्चों को पढ़ाना बहुत अच्छा लगता है। इसलिए उसने सबसे पहले 12वीं करने के बाद अपनी पॉकेट मनी के लिए एक छोटा सा स्कूल ज्वाइन किया। क्योंकि उसके घर की हालत इतनी अच्छी नहीं थी और वह अपने पैरों पर स्टैंड होना चाहती थी। इसलिए उसने अपनी पॉकेट मनी के लिए ₹700 प्रतिमाह तनखा के हिसाब से एक छोटा सा स्कूल ज्वाइन किया। जहां पर वह पांचवी से लेकर आठवीं तक के बच्चों को पढ़ाती थी। उसके बाद उसने अपनी पढ़ाई जारी रखते हुए b.a. किया। फिर एडवांस डिप्लोमा कंप्यूटर किया। इसी बीच में वह नौकरी भी करती थी।
और खुद पढ़ने भी जाती थी। उसकी दूसरी नौकरी एक कंप्यूटर सेंटर में लगी जहां पर वह बच्चों को कंप्यूटर सिखाती थी। वहां पर उसकी सैलरी ₹3000 प्रतिमाह थी। उसके बाद उसने प्राइवेट m.a. किया और उसके बाद पीजीडीसीए और आखरी में उसने B.Ed किया।
अब उसके करियर की बात की जाए तो जैसा कि मैंने पहले ही बताया कि प्रीति ने पहले छोटे से स्कूल में पढ़ाया, फिर कंप्यूटर सेंटर में पढ़ाया, फिर एक इंग्लिश इंस्टिट्यूट में क्लर्क की नौकरी की। उसके बाद दुबारा उसने एक कंप्यूटर सेंटर में पढ़ाया। फिर उसके बाद उसको एक अच्छे स्कूल में नौकरी मिली जिसका नाम था दिल्ली पब्लिक स्कूल। जो कि पूरे भारत में बहुत ही मशहूर है। उसके बाद उसकी शादी हुई और उसने अपनी नौकरी करने की जिद नहीं छोड़ी।
शादी के कुछ महीने बाद उसने केंद्र विद्यालय स्कूल में प्राइवेट नौकरी कि, उसके बाद उसने सोचा कि हमें कुछ अलग करना चाहिए। इसलिए उसे लिखने का बहुत शौक था तो उसने इस शोक को पकड़ा और अब तक वो कम से कम 30 से 40 वेबसाइट के लिए लिख चुकी है। उसे लिखने में एंटरटेनमेंट, फूड, हेल्थ, लाइफस्टाइल, रिलेशनशिप,एटीन प्लस, ब्यूटी, ट्रैवल जैसे सब्जेक्ट पर लिखना बहुत अच्छा लगता है। उसे ज्यादातर हिंदी लिखना पसंद है।
अब बात करते हैं प्रीति के शौक की, उसे डांस करना बहुत अच्छा लगता है वह इन बातों में विश्वास रखती है कि अगर हम अपनी फैमिली में से टाइम निकालकर बाहर कुछ सीखने नहीं जा सकते, तो इंटरनेट की दुनिया किस लिए है इसलिए वह घर बैठे बहुत सारी चीजें सीखना चाहती है। वह चाहती है कि दुनिया कि ज्यादा से ज्यादा चीजें उसको आ सके। ताकि कभी भी मुसीबत पड़ने पर वह कोई भी काम कर सके।
अगर बात करें इंटरनेट की दुनिया की तो उसने इंटरनेट से बहुत सारी चीजें सीखी है जैसे की वेस्ट मटीरियल को कैसे इस्तेमाल किया जा सकता है, उसने सिलाई सीखी है, उसने पार्लर सीखा है, उसने डांस सीखा है और तमाम ऐसी चीजें सीखी है जो एक लड़की को सीखने चाहिए। ऐसा कोई भी मौका नहीं छोड़ना चाहती है जिसे वह कर ना सके। उसे लोगों को खुश रखना बहुत अच्छा लगता है। वह अपने आप में एक परफेक्ट लड़की या महिला मानती है। और इसका पूरा क्रेडिट वह अपने माता पिता और अपने पति को देती है।
उनकी माता जी का नाम आशा तिवारी है, और उनके पिताजी का नाम शशिकांत तिवारी है। उसने कभी नहीं सोचा था कि वह इतनी सारी चीजे सीख सकती है। इसलिए वह एक बात हमेशा कहती है कि जब तक उसकी शादी नहीं हुई थी तब तक उसके माता-पिता ने उसका बहुत साथ दिया और शादी के बाद उसके पति ने उसका पूरा साथ दिया। वह कहती है कि दुनिया में बहुत से लड़के या पति ऐसे होते हैं जो अपनी पत्नी की तरक्की से परेशान रहते हैं। पर उसके पति ने उसका इतना साथ दिया कि जब भी उसकी पत्नी की तरक्की होती थी यानि की पति की तरक्की होती थी। तो उसके पति के चेहरे पर एक बहुत ही अच्छी स्माइल होती थी। जिसको देखकर प्रीति खुश हो जाती थी। वह तो यह कहती है कि मेरे हर कामयाबी के पीछे मेरे पति का पूरा पूरा हाथ है, वह मेरा लकी चार्म है।
